You will need just some essential tools and workers to make a raised bed garden in your lawn. Here is the step by step process.

1. Pick the Perfect Place

There should be sufficient sunlight for the plants and veggies to grow well.

2. Choose the Correct Material for the Bed

Untreated rot wood is the most suitable for any bed.

4. Build the Raised Beds

After getting the required layout, it is time to prepare the bed. If you are using stone, then the bed can be adjusted without using mortar. If wooden pieces are used for making beds, you can secure the wood pieces into the desired shape with the help of screws.

5. Line the Bottom of the Bed

To prevent weed and unwanted grass from growing up into the bed, place corrugated cardboard or newspaper at the bottom.

6. Fill the Beds

It is time to fill the beds with soil. Pick up soil that is the best for the plants you choose. Fill up the beds with one part of the soil, 1 part of manure and 1 part of sand.

7. Plant the Veggies

Digging now will be very easy as the bed is filled with the soil and manure. After the required seeds are planted in the beds, watering can be done according to the plant in the bed.

8. Watering

The beds can be irrigated by hand watering or by using an automated system. Although time-consuming, make it a habit of going for hand watering. You can observe the plants and take action if there are any problems with the beds or plants.
